In order to be able to assess what exactly is going on, how long the repair will take and what the costs will be, the Tamron service department as to investigate the matter in detail.
You can send your Tamron lens, with accompanying letter, proof of purchase and Tamron warranty certificate to us or send/bring it to the shop where you bought your Tamron lens.
If your Tamron lens needs to be repaired outside the warranty period, you can always ask for a quote first. This way you know in advance what the exact costs will be. Should you decide on the basis of this quote to not have your lens repaired, you'll only pay for the research costs.
(You don't pay anything if you decide to have the defective Tamron lens destroyed.)
