We are pleased to advise you that a firmware update service is available for the Tamron 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (Model B011) for Canon (EOS M) to allow for compatibility with the Canon EOS M3.

With this update the lens functions properly when used with the Canon EOS M3.
Update method
The update can be carried out at Tamron authorized service centers. For more information and handling procedures please contact your local distributor.

Note: This overwrite service will only apply to products which were legally and officially imported into the EU, Andorra, Gibraltar, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey or Ukraine, and distributed by an authorized Tamron Europe distributor (see also: Grey market).
Identification of Firmware Status by Serial Number
- Locating your serial number. The serial number is located on the barcode sticker on the packaging as well as on the mount side of the lens (back of the lens).
